Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing that is changing how the world consumes IT resources. AWS is seeking an experienced and talented Marketing Analyst reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations & Planning – APJ.
The ideal candidate is an experienced analyst who thrives in building processes from scratch and able to translate data into meaningful insights for the business stakeholders. The successful candidate will a results-driven professional with proven Analytics and/or strong Sales & Marketing Operations background in Lead Funnel Process with a passion for technology and entrepreneurial spirit.
The individual will lead the following activities:
1. Reporting & Analysis for Category Marketing
2. Consulting with business stakeholders
3. Measurement Planning
4. Systems and process automation
This is a highly visible and critical position within AWS APJ Marketing organization.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Map data flow across various Marketing data sources and integrate them for efficient reporting
· Partner with APJ Marketing stakeholders to understand their reporting needs for Category Marketing
· Plan scalable reporting mechanism and propose relevant Marketing metrics
· Create and automate intuitive dashboards with visualizations for weekly and monthly reports, trends and drivers
· Collaborate closely with Ops team to enhance existing dashboards to bridge any gaps where needed.
· Support high priority business needs with nimble reporting solutions
· Drive weekly/monthly cadence with stakeholders to provide regular insights for optimization
· Build enablement capabilities and drive data adoption
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
· 10+ years of experience in a Business/Data Analyst, Sales & Marketing Operations role or relevant responsibilities
· Communicate (verbal and written) effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
· Experience with project management and process improvement
· Experience with Business Intelligence tools, Marketing channels and activities, specifically lead generation funnel
· Produce demand generation forecasts by evaluating seasonality, trends, Marketing opportunities and upcoming campaigns
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
· Strong understanding of Marketing KPIs and go-to-market channels
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
· Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling
· Strong analytical skills with emphasis on ROI analysis and funnel optimization, hands-on experience on reporting tools eg: Tableau and Salesforce
· Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
