Job Description
Neuroglee is a venture-backed digital health startup that is on a mission of reimagining care for patients living with neurodegenerative diseases. By combining best-in-class cognitive rehabilitation strategies and digital biomarkers, we build evidence-based precision digital therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. Reporting directly to the CEO, the ideal candidate for this role should have a mix of healthcare and consumer tech background, a passion for mission-driven companies and products, and several product cycles of experience in software development. Experience with software as a medical device, and knowledge of regulatory and quality management systems is a strong plus. And, you have strong analytical skills, a data-driven perspective on product management, and a high degree of comfort in conversing with clinical subject matter experts, including physicians, specialists and caregivers. We are building an end-to-end service that integrates seamlessly into the lives of those affected by neurodegenerative disease via multiple touchpoints on front-end while providing intelligent analytics on the backend.
- Own the product vision and ensure it aligns with the company vision, and be an expert in the domain, the market and the trends.
- Design and own both the overarching product strategy and the tactical details of new product initiative.
- Create and maintain product roadmaps. Scope and prioritize the product’s roadmap, regularly communicating status to stakeholders
- Drive and improve product development processes in collaboration with our Regulatory team to support our Quality Management System
- Take ownership of product quality and delivery
- Represent the user. Bring the customer's voice into the creation process. Own requirements, specifications, and release plans.
- Set and use project KPIs to drive evaluation and decision-making
- Drive the end to end feature delivery cycle. Work closely with developers to develop, test, and deliver asset. Work with the software and data science team to deliver a world-class product driven by customers, advisory teams and internal product experts.
- Work closely with Clinical Strategy colleagues to infuse the best of medical knowledge into our software products
- Measure success. Define what success means for each feature and each function before it even goes to development. Develop ways to constantly define and monitor success.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate
- 8+ years of product management experience.
- Bachelor's or higher in relevant field from a top school.
- Strong healthcare background-- particularly working directly with clinicians, defining clinically-effective products, and understanding the healthcare product and service landscape. Gathering and transforming business requirements and market needs into a successful product strategy.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision making. Strong technical background and natural ease to work effectively with engineers working on data science, user-facing applications, and complex algorithms.
- Data science and research experience; track record of working with machine-learning teams to transform AI into positive business and user outcome
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum is a plus.
- Computer Science, Product Design, and other engineering backgrounds.
- MBA, MS or Ph.D is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in leading SaaS, mobile-first products.
