YOUR CHALLENGE:
You will work for the Expansion Team of Decathlon Singapore, and be a key team player in the opening of Decathlon stores (which is one of the main components of Decathlon’s omni-channel strategy). Currently, we have 5 Experience Stores and 7 Click amp; Collect stores in Singapore.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To monitor lease administration of existing stores compliance of the lease terms and conditions for all stores, managing deadlines and preparing actions plans for renewal of leases, options to expand, etc.
- To provide support in negotiations with external parties (commercial landlords, government agencies, etc.), and follow up diligently on outstanding deliverables (internal and external deliverables), so as to secure the deal as soon as possible
- To draft and review termsheets, letters of offer, lease agreement, amendments, and other relevant agreements, and ensure that the contract duly reflects the commercial positions taken by the Expansion Team
- To coordinate with other business units (finance, IT, legal, operations, construction, etc.) to move the projects forward from site identification to store opening
- To prepare Validation Sheets setting out the summary of the lease terms and conditions for the Investment Committee to approve
- To guarantee reliable physical and digital archiving of important documents and contracts
- To assist the Expansion Leader with any ad-hoc matters
Requirements
- Qualifications: Diploma in Law or Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years paralegal experience, preferably in a reputable law firm’s real estate department in Singapore.
- Language skills: Excellent communication and written skills in English.
- Computer skills: Excellent computing skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
