About The Role

This role will lead, plan and manage the Business Services in Civica, and orchestrate support from other teams, vendors and stakeholders to meet project deadlines and customers’ requirements. He or she will also play a key role in strategy formulation, collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams in the development and operationalization of key strategic initiatives which are critical for the organization to achieve both its short- and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

Management of Library and Project Teams

  • Work with department heads and directors with Civica and the client to successfully deliver business services
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements for the project, develop effective working relationships and handle ongoing management processes for the project
  • Ensure projects are delivered within the financial requirements and that teams deliver agreed KPI
  • Support development of the company’s short and long-term strategic plans and initiatives
  • Provide analytical expertise and support for business planning and decision-making
  • Support employee engagement, development, branding and communications to shape a career and community for our librarians
  • Review annual manpower needs and re-design roles to transform business needs

Sales and Business Development

  • Product ownership of all services products
  • Expansion of portfolio where appropriate
  • Explore opportunities to expand services locally and regionally
