Job Description

Reporting to the head of Supply Chain and working with a team of regional compliance members, you will play a critical role in advancing the compliance programs to appointed OMRON entities in Asia.

You will be required to lead and support Compliance Program. In addition, managing the regulatory risk based on OMRON Global/Area Rules for imports and exports.

  • Lead and support the development, implementation and administration of OMRON compliance program amp; framework, policies and training programmes.
  • Lead the Compliance Programs implementation and execution for OMRON entities.
  • Develop amp; Maintain Communication amp; Reporting Channel in OMRON region as branch office of Global HQ.
  • Developed, review and maintain OMRON Standard Rule, Policies and Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and education tools or materials.
  • Promote OMRON Global Rules thru constant educations and auditing of OMRON entities to ensure high standards of compliance as required.
  • Lead and manage various compliance program - HS Code management programs and tools, Sales Royalties review and evaluation program.
  • Provide proactive and timely advice on relevant regulatory and firm policy requirements as per required.
  • Administer periodic compliance training to all OMRON entities.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and regional compliance coverage as required.
  • Provide advisory and guidance to OMRON entities on issues related to customs import and export.


Requirements

  • Candidate must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Must have a proven track record in designing and executing successful training programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently, plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals.
  • Strong knowledge in compliance related to imports and exports of various countries in
  • Asia Pacific. Experience in managing and review of HS Code management, Country of Origin, Sales royalties etc related to import and exports activities.
  • Willing to travel to conduct training.
  • Excellent analytical skills, meticulous, ethical and principled
