Mediacorp is seeking a Senior Product Manager who is passionate about delivering innovative products and services to join its Digital Group.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in working with designers, developers, clients, editorial teams and business owners in the ad-tech industry. The candidate will be analytical, solutions focused, and able to execute product initiatives across multiple business units simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the digital transformation initiatives, incorporating best practices to build digital development capability across business units.
- Manage multiple cross-functional internal / external stakeholders in driving the product roadmap.
- Work with UX, Product Engineering and service delivery leads in developing and executing product plans.
- With the UI/UX lead implement the design thinking process for roadmap planning.
- Work closely with external vendors on feasibility assessment and implementation plans.
- Understand clients’ needs and translate them into product features.
- Work with TV, radio, digital and OOH sales, and pricing teams to develop monetization sellable opportunities.
- Identify ongoing product enhancement opportunities for clients to help them grow reach and engagement of their campaigns.
- Create business cases amp; technical documentation for new features or products by gathering requirements, costs, and market insights.
- Act as project lead for specific roadmap items.
- Create user stories and acceptance criteria for development sprints.
- Ensure that BU requirements are met via constant feedback loops.
- Understand emerging digital trends and assess local market impact.
- Work closely with QA and vendor on testing features and release versions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in digital product development, digital marketing, advertising, consulting or related fields
- Experience launching digital products or services from idea to execution
- Experience managing and building mobile and web products
- Depth of knowledge of paid, owned and earned digital media platforms
- Strong understanding of the Digital landscape and innovation trends
- Understanding of market and consumer research and deriving data/research driven consumer insights
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing and related technology
- Experience in developing and innovating new ad products
- Excellent communicator and presentation skills
- Familiarity with Web development technologies, including content management systems, HTML and JavaScript
- Knowledge and experience using product management tools e.g. JIRA
- Experience in user-centered design processes and analysis tools
- Expert in MS Powerpoint and ability to develop professional presentation quickly
- Prior ad-tech related experience a plus
- Excellent time and project management skills, able to manage multiple projects with varying schedules simultaneously
- An expert practitioner of Agile product development principles
