APAC Infrastructure Lead Consultant

Role amp; Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the overall guidelines and standard operating procedures of Technology amp; Operations across the region
• Design and implement Migration strategy to public cloud environments (Azure, Alibaba amp; GCP)
• Maintain on-prem network amp; server infra working alongside CLIENT partners
• Evaluate and recommend necessary changes in performance tuning, infrastructure design and monitoring
• Analyze problems, evaluate technical issues, test, maintain, modify, integrate, monitor and ensure to automate software systems
• Execute technology successfully by minimal downtime as well as disruption
• Partner with the CISO to define, develop and prioritize execution of IT strategy across the region
• Work with market IT leaders to ensure alignment with strategic infra objectives and targets
• Lead technology selection efforts from a technical perspective
• Lead RFP question formulation and be responsible for their completion
• Formulate technology recommendations while working with stakeholders
• Compile technology findings and recommendations for leadership decisions
• Drive proof-of-concept and implementation activities from an architectural perspective
• Identify technologies appropriate to incorporate in solution architectures
• Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture diagrams, solution architecture documents and other artifacts to guide implementations
• Translate requirements into the formulation of solutions
• Present subject matter to project teams, governance forums and other audiences as needed
• Travel involved ~ 30%

Requirements

• Knowledge in Information Management / Systems / Technology / Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• 5 years of IT Infrastructure specialist experience in managing infrastructure technology including network, windows amp; Linux plus cloud specialist experience in one or more public clouds, Azure, GCP or Alibaba
• Experience in managing network infra including routers, switches, firewalls. Ideally experience in developing detailed security and infrastructure architectures, running and managing infra as a code tech
• Experience in managing SaaS based IAM solutions including AD
• Experience in vendor and supplier management
• Experience in IT or security organizations supporting mobile or "disconnected" workforce
• Having knowledge of mid-large scaler workload migration to clouds, technical platforms and market solutions
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively, at all levels in a multi-language, multinational environment
• Ability to transfer complicated ideas into comprehensible and digestible concepts for non-technical audiences
• A demonstrated mindset to be able to transfer technical concepts into deliverable business solutions
• Be able to consider the variety of options available and recommend the best approach or solution, weighing the benefits and detractors of each
• Independent, able to work under pressure, attention to detail
• Fluent in English with proficiency of other language(s) will be an advantage
