Venture Builder Intern (6 months)

We do this through integrative, people-centric venture building a new business creation process that connects the entrepreneur’s intrinsic motivation to a promising field that solve complex long term social or industry issues. We invest in entrepreneurs with a ‘build-to-last’ mindset to develop market leaders over the long term.

Since 2015, Reapra has invested in over 60 companies across Southeast Asia and Japan across different fields Next-generation Education, Food amp; Agriculture, Recycling amp; Waste, HR-Technology, Tourism, Crisis Management, Mental Wellness and others.

We are looking for Venture Interns who can support our business and founders across market analytics, people development, sourcing and corporate strategy support.

What you can expect to learn

(Could be all of the following or a combination thereof)

• Understanding Reapra’s concepts for creating long term sustainable businesses
• Conduct market sensing on emerging industries and complex social issues in South-East Asia
• Supporting investment sourcing and evaluation in South-east Asia
• Co-learning diverse promising fields with startups and founders
• Supporting the Corporate Strategists in their work with founders
• Exploring new approaches to venture building methodologies

Requirements

Who is Our Ideal Candidate

• Beginner mindset with openness to explore and learn new things
• Strong interest in venture building
• Education background in any relevant fields (e.g. entrepreneurship, philosophy, psychology, commerce, science, design amp; technology, political science, gamification etc) or currently pursuing a degree in the aforementioned fields
• Team player and supporter
• High interest in self-development and development of others
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Adaptable and comfortable working in unstructured learning environments
• Any prior entrepreneurial or startup-related experience will be appreciated

Individuals who demonstrate good potential during the internship could potentially be further considered for conversion into full time positions.
