The Regional Controlling Systems team supports the group finance function by supporting and delivering transformational finance systems projects and initiatives, delivering defined projects to create efficiency and improvement through process reengineering, system enhancements and digitalization.
This role is responsible to ensure day-to-day smooth performance and functioning of the system, and liaising with software vendors for product improvements and implementing them in the system. The individual will be the go-to for all ERP-related tasks and experts in giving solutions to effectively integrate NetSuite technology into the business environment in order to achieve business goals. There is a fair bit of troubleshooting on a day to day basis.
Decision escalations to Finance AM will mainly depend on the extent of the decision, but mainly would be on a business process or policy changes. The role would be able to make operational and day-to-day decisions and operate fairly independently.
This is a regional-level role that would help to handle issues arising from all 6-7 countries, as there is no systems expert in each local country. Hence, there is a fair level of accountability for this role. Stakeholders mainly include (but are not limited to) local finance, procurement, commercial and external consultants. Responsibilties
- Analyze/understand user requirements for enhancements and provide solutions; consultants are only brought in for high-level problems and usually come in with readily-packaged solutions, this role will need to fend for in-house solutions on a day to day basis (which happens 80% of the time) and bridge the solutions that consultants provide (where applicable) with customization for in-house use
- Expertise and well-versed in ERP-related fields and issues, taking on country concerns. The main expert in both regional HQ and local countries.
- Implements clear and effective enhancement including project plans, progress reporting, user training and documentation
- Proactive communication with the stakeholder for NetSuite New Release Features
- Manage stakeholders such as internal (finance, commercial, procurement) and external (consultants)Supported system optimizations and implemented system maintenance
- Provide assistance to the users to develop and produce reports and dashboardsSupport and maintain stable daily operation of ERP and other business application systems
- Participate in projects from the initial stage till deployment
- Develops and maintains detailed solution roadmap for NetSuite solution
- Proper documentation in terms of business processes, draft user guides customised to Ninja Van (e.g book-keeping), to ensure compliance with IT audits
- Potentially looking into other types of ERP systems to ensure sustainability and scalability
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science /IT
- At least 2 years’ experience NetSuite Administration and Development experience with NetSuite's SuiteCloud tools
- Strong knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript programming. Need to understand and appreciate the lingo of the vendor, and handle management of test scripts in the UAT environment.
- Experience in managing IT application projects and implementations
- Knowledge of other ERP and Finance technologies such as SAP / Oracle / Workday / Salesforce / Metabase / Tableau / data analytics and visualization etc. will be advantageous
- Possess NetSuite Suite Foundation and Administrator Certifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Able to create and deliver compelling presentations
- Able to easily adapt to change, and effectively manage priorities
