The Regional Business Development Senior Specialist within the team will focus on both B2B amp; B2C client acquisitions within SEA, ranging from medium/ large e-commerce brands to consolidators amp; social commerce sellers. This will help to achieve our goal of revenue diversification through increased acquisitions. This individual will be expected to achieve revenue targets by upselling Ninja Van's sea freight and air freight solutions amp; manage account servicing duties.Responsibilities
  • Prospect and identify target client segments
  • Manage the entire sales pipeline from lead generation, pitching , prospecting, closing to onboarding
  • Assist on designing acquisition strategies and implement best in-class acquisition processes
  • Provide inputs to marketing / commercial teams to develop marketing campaigns to ensure generation of a healthy lead pipeline
  • Identify new business opportunities and upsell new services, to grow and extract revenue opportunities from existing clients
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
  • Take ownership of and manage relationships with high volume (existing) key accounts and acquired small / medium clients, to ensure commercial and operational success
  • Preparation of required materials for Client Presentations (e.g. Monthly Business Reviews) and see through the required actionable (often revolving operational and commercial issues) with the relevant internal stakeholders in the organization
  • Maintain well organized, up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity reports in Salesforce CRM system
  • Provide excellent client service, and deliver operational insights using qualitative and quantitative data to troubleshoot and address issues affecting account performance
  • Independently manage commercial negotiations with incoming leads/ existing clients by coordinating with internal commercial teams
Requirements
  • Minimally a Bachelors' Degree (1 - 2 years of relevant experience preferred)in a sales / business development / acquisition role.
  • Applicants with minimal work experience but possess strong extra-curricular and relevant internship records are welcomed to apply and will be considered for a junior position.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce / logistics is a plus
  • Well versed in both sides of the hunter and farmer landscape of client acquisition/servicing
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and organized with the ability to work under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment
  • Exposure to working across geographies, teams and individuals of different cultures
  • Willing to travel to our local offices on a bi-weekly basis
  • Well-versed in English amp; Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients
