Safety Coordinator (SCON08 Nov2021 01) (Civil)

• To ensure work site compliance with Workplace, Safety and Health and Environmental Management Regulation.
• To in charge of preparation of Work Instructions if applicable to the requirements of site.
• To conduct safety inspection; assess Risk Assessments, incident / accident investigation.
• To assist with safety program implementation at workplace.
• To ensure all HSE related safety equipment and PPE are in order and properly maintained.
• To carry out any HSE related functions / duties and processes as directed by superior.
• To liaise closely with site operations staff and Project / Site Managers / Government Regulatory Authorities on all EHS matters.
• To oversee and lead the subcontractors in the implementation of Company’s safety systems at sites.

Requirements

• Min. O level or ITE Certificate / WSQ Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
• At least 3 years relevant experience preferably in construction / M amp; E industry.
• Possess BCSS / WAH and other Safety Certification / knowledge in LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications
