Job Description
Good Doctor Technology(GDT) is a joint venture health-tech company between Ping An Healthcare and Technology (formally known as Ping An Good Doctor), Grab and Softbank. Established in 2018 with regional headquarters operations in Singapore, GDT's mission is to provide ‘One Doctor for One Family across Southeast Asia'. Powered by digitally-backed technologies, our aim is to connect healthcare professionals with patients via teleheath services and deliver high-quality virtual care at speed. We strive to improve the access of doctors among patients by unlocking more potentials of health technologies that can support the further democratisation of healthcare. Through our digitally-backed initiatives, we hope to break down traditional barriers such as time and geographic boundaries.
We are looking to build up our engineering capability in Singapore, supporting the region in engineering efforts
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Write clean code to develop functional web applications
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
- Gather and address technical and design requirements
- Provide training and support to internal teams
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
- Follow emerging technologies
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Back-end developer
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Hands on experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP, Python and NodeJS
- Working knowledge of CMS framework
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
- BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
