About the role
The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for full spectrum of payroll function including processing of salaries/ wages, pay adjustment, CPF submission, annual tax filing as well as regular headcount amp; reporting related to payroll.
The ideal candidate is independent, meticulous, self-driven with the ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment with minimal guidance and demonstrates good judgment. He /she is highly organized and able to multi-task and prioritize completing requests from different stakeholders and will be responsible to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
What you will be doing
- Manage mid to complex monthly payroll processing across different shift patterns including overtime pay, festive advance pay, ad-hoc payroll and allowances.
- Ensure timely submission of tax clearance for non-local leavers.
- Prepare various quarterly accrual and provision reports for Finance reporting.
- Assist in preparation for journal posting to Finance system.
- Assist to prepare pre-payroll activities (e.g month end data for payroll checking, leave and attendance checking).
- Manage stakeholders enquiries relating to payroll costs, reports and grants computation.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by immediate manager.
Requirements
The successful candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant certification
- Experience in payroll processing for both white-collar and blue-collar employees
- Familiar with BIPO system will be an advantage
- Highly competent in MS Excel
- Experience working in Multinational Corporations (MNCs)
- Possesses strong teamwork, problem-solving, and execution skills
