Overview
We are looking for a confident and organised Senior Marketing amp; Communications Executive to join our Marcomms team in Singapore to manage our Press and Marketing activity in China and SE Asia. To succeed in this role, you will need to enjoy the creative side of the job as much as research, data and analytics. You will be required to help build and maintain a strong and consistent brand image and shorten the commercial cycle through a wide range of on and offline channels, including events, PR, social and digital as well as reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns. You will report directly to the Senior Marketing amp; Communications Manager, Asia with the opportunity to quickly gain more responsibilities and autonomy.
Requirements
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Handling corporate social accounts, eg. WeChat, Weibo, Toutiao
- Working closely with the design team and briefing in new projects
- Proofreading of marketing copy and press releases
- Tracking and reporting press coverage
- Researching new publications and journalists and supporting on new press strategies
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with industry and national journalists
- Leading on strategy and delivery of event activations in China and SEA
- Managing supplier relationships including negotiating costs
- Ensuring all Marketing and Press campaigns are delivered on time and to budget
- Measuring ROI and performance including regular reporting and analysis
- Keeping an eye on industry and wider marketing best practice
- Tracking competitor marketing and press activity
Key skills required
- Fluent in both spoken and written business Chinese and English (native Chinese preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work both independently and in collaboration with multiple teams
- Excellent written skills and proof reading
- Experience in Salesforce and/or marketing automation software is useful but not crucial
- Knowledge/experience of the maritime or aviation sector is desirable but not essential
