An aspiring Applied Physics researcher and academic, who is deeply interested in the applications of Nano-photonics and metamaterials in optoelectronic devices such as solar cells and rain inducing lasers. My goal is to derive green energy solutions using Physics to provide sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels and to increase access to clean water supply around the world. In addition, I am keen on designing science and mathematics curriculum that prioritize understanding over memorizing, and curiosity above necessity.
I taught Science based on the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus to 13- 15-year-old with a focus on building their comprehension and interest. As a P.E assistant coach, I was in charge of supervising student well-being whilst promoting their physical health and bonding between students.
I designed Science and Mathematics curricula for 12- to 16-year-old refugees with an emphasis on active engagement. Classes were carried out with science experiments to induce curiosity, while quizzes were held to encourage thinking outside the box. During the COVID-19 period, online Zoom sessions that promoted lively exchanges between student and teacher were made possible through custom made tutorial questions.

Extracurricular Activities
1. Making and Tinkering Lite: Digital Microscope Design
2. NTU Hall 14 Table Tennis Captain
3. Malaysian Freshmen Orientation Camp Chief Programmer
I created a digital microscope out of an Ender-3 hardware, an Arduino Mega, and a 3D printed microscope holder. Using my knowledge of several programming languages, the machine was designed such that the microscope scanning process is automated based on parameters set by the user. The automaton is also equipped with different sets of LEDs to indicate a change of the degree of freedom. Similar techniques are applied in experimental phases of Physics research.
